“Christ invites us to remain in touch with the many sufferings of every day and to taste the beginning of hope and new life right there, where we live amid our hurts and pains and brokenness.”
Hi Erin, I actually came to your blog at the post where you had cut your thumb. I was trying to figure out what it was you threw away. Two days ago, I cut a tiny piece off of a finger, along with a little fingernail. The dr. at the urgent care clinic I went to put that Gelfoam on it and said to keep the bandage he covered it with for 48 hours. I didn't remember if he said what to do later, so I called today, and was told to soak it a couple times a day and peel off the extra Gelfoam that comes up. I can't imagine having to take it off and put more on. You sure were brave! Now, I'm trying to figure out how much I should let it dry before wrapping it. I need the protection from getting it bumped. If you have any tips on dealing with the foam, please let me know.I'm sorry for your loss of Hannah. I just said a prayer for God's comfort for you and your family in your grieving.
nice photo ^0^
