Thanks, Marjorie!

Back in February I got a call from someone in management at a housing development area in Rogers. They were having a promotional event with the adorable blue-ribbon baker Marjorie Johnson and they needed someone to make 300 of her gingersnap cookies. So they found me and I obliged. (No, I didn't get to meet Marjorie).

Well, today I got a call from the same contact in Rogers. They are having a holiday event on Saturday and need about 250 cookies, half gingersnaps and half peanut butter cookies (both Marjories recipes). Yay! A random order. Love it.

What I love most is that Marjorie uses shortening in her cookies, and shortening is about a million times cheaper than butter.

Thank you, Miss Blue Ribbon Baker. :)

mmmmm....cookies. Hey if any fall on the floor while you're baking, I'd be happy to take them off your hands....er...floor I guess.
