Dan was walking downtown yesterday and saw a man with a cardboard sign that read:
"My family was killed by ninjas. I need money for karate lessons."
Is "Will work for food" getting too predictable?

makes me think of the man i saw with a sign that said 'i need a drink.'
perhaps the will work for food signs just blend into the background these days.
he must have known he would bring a smile to at least one person...
I think he is on to something. If you expect to get people to give you money, you at least need to entertain them! At least then a service is provided in exchange for the cash.
